Service Fees and Policies of Coway (Thailand)

1. Repair service fees

Products eligible for repair under warranty conditions must have defects resulting from normal usage only.

Exclusions from warranty coverage:                    
1) Misuse of the product or usage for purposes other than intended (non-household or non-office use).                    
2) Damage caused by force majeure or accidents not attributable to Coway, such as natural disasters, riots, civil unrest, protests, theft, loss, destruction, seizure, confiscation, or damage caused by insects and animals.                    
3) Removal of the product from the installation site or repairs performed by technicians not authorized by Coway.                    
4) Modification, alteration, extension, or any action that changes the product's original functionality.                    
5) Use of the product with non-Coway filters or the reuse of old filters.                    

2. Relocation and re-installation fees

Relocation must be performed by Coway experts only. Service fees vary by contract type and product category as follows:

Note:      

1) Transport is not included. The customer is responsible for transporting the product to the new location.                
2) For Air Purifiers: Customers must inform Coway and follow the specified procedures before moving the product.                
3) Coway reserves the right to approve relocation only within Coway’s service areas.                
4) Self-installation, self-removal, or damage during transport will void the product warranty.

Air Conditioner Installation Details                

1) Standard Equipment Included in Installation Fee

Copper pipe (9,000 & 12,000 BTU): Free 4 meters (First installation only)                
VAF Wire (2.5 sq.mm.): Free 10 meters.                
Ground Wire (1.5 sq.mm.): Free 4 meters.                
Rubber Compressor Legs (3-inch): Free 1 set.                
Breaker (15A): Free 1 set.                
PVC Drain Pipe: Free 5 meters.                
Pipe Cover / Duct (Size 75): Free 4 meters.                
Head Cover & Elbow/Flat Curve: Free 1 set.        

2) Excess Charges (Additional Usage)

If installation requires materials exceeding the free allowance, the following charges apply:   
Copper pipe: 400 THB/meter        
VAF Wire: 40 THB/meter        
Ground Wire: 20 THB/meter        
PVC Drain Pipe: 40 THB/meter        
Pipe Cover (Size 75): 300 THB/meter        
Head Cover: 80 THB/piece        
Pipe Elbow (90-degree): 100 THB/piece        
Flat Curve: 100 THB/piece        
Cross-beam Joint: 200 THB/piece        
Pipe Joint: 100 THB/piece        
Wall Mount Joint: 200 THB/piece        
Saddle Clip (Horseshoe): 100 THB/piece        
Compressor Hanging Bracket: 500 THB/set        
Basket Bracket (for Condos): 850 THB/set        
Air Deflector / Grille: 800 THB/piece        
Circuit Breaker (32A): 300 THB/piece        
Ground Rod (30 cm): 200 THB/point        
Refrigerant R32: 30 THB/pound        
Old AC Removal Fee: 800 THB/unit (Free if the old unit is surrendered to Coway).        
VCT Wire (4 x 1.5 sq.mm.): 50 THB/meter        

3. Termination and Return Conditions

     3.1) Return within 7 days for returns due to personal reasons (not due to product defect), the following removal and handling fees apply:

If the product is still under a hire-purchase contract and payments are incomplete, rights may be transferred under the following conditions and fees:
